Sabrina Barrett

As the proud founder of Hibiscus Studios, I am thrilled to have achieved my goal after four years of hard work. I am passionate about art and design and love expressing myself through different mediums, such as illustration, photography, motion graphics, and animation. I established my design business as Sabrina Art & Design. However, after three years and nearing the end of my college, I felt the need for a re-brand. I wanted a name that truly reflected my artistic persona and was inspired by my favourite flower, the Hibiscus. The journey of re-branding was challenging, but after exploring different options, I finally found the perfect fit - Hibiscus Studios. This name confidently expresses my creative identity and resonates deeply with who I am. It's not just a name or logo, but an authentic representation of my true self.

I have always loved drawing since I was a child and my passion for it started when I began creating characters for the stories I wrote. During my middle school years, my father taught me photography which I soon fell in love with. In high school, I studied media arts and then went on to study graphic design in college. My family has been a great inspiration and support for me and the How To Train Your Dragon franchise has contributed to my inspiration as well. I enjoy incorporating legends, folklore, and mythology into my designs and artwork. I have worked for clients and school projects. My preference lies in macro photography as it highlights the intricate details of nature. Although I have a basic understanding of animation, I am eager to work on more complex animations in the future.

My ultimate goal is to turn my passion into a rewarding career that not only brings me personal satisfaction but also provides a livelihood. I aim to bring my clients' ideas to life and capture their deepest passions through my work. I truly believe that everyone has the potential to be creative and create something meaningful. I hope that my work inspires others to embrace their inner artist, tell their unique stories, and explore the amazing world of art and design.

Thank you!
