Marshall Corston

Hello, my name is Marshall Corston. I’m an illustrator, designer, editor and I love taking photos. My creativeness, eagerness, and commitment started since I was in middle school and as I continued it towards high school. I always stunned my teachers with my amazing drawings or sketches I make during class time and have achieve positive grades doing so. Once I started college, I enjoyed my experience as any teenager would: living on their own for the first time, walking to class everyday, enjoying the free time with your friends or roommates. But once the COVID-19 pandemic spread, it cut off all the things I wanted to enjoy during college. My education was transitioned to online-learning, except for one class, but otherwise I had to learn at my own room, during lockdown and scared of what to do next if this pandemic continues forever. After my second year into the Graphic Design program, I took a break from school that extended to two years.

I have returned in 2023 and have throughout those past two years I was gone, I never once thought of giving up on my dreams and passions because it would leave me feeling unaccomplished for ever and I will have to live with it if I don’t make a change. I also understand that I always need to ask for help when I need it too. And that is what I’ve been moving forward with ever since: always do what I need to do before it is too late because you only have one chance and to never give up and to always find a way because that’s what winners do.
