Maggie Turgeon
Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m a graphic designer who specializes in vector illustration and motion graphics. I freelance under the name Huggins Art and Design, which is a tribute to my fur baby, who recently passed away.
Art has always been my passion; I enjoy creating and bringing ideas to life. I love using bright colours and making bold, fun designs. I aim to create aesthetically pleasing, mindful, and captivating designs that express my individuality, as I often draw inspiration from my surroundings, experiences, and passions.
Apart from graphic design, I have a diverse array of interests. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music, where I specialized in French Horn. I also enjoy playing the piano, travelling, spending time with my family, and cooking. I’m also an avid crafter. I spent a few years crafting and selling my Cricut creations before I decided to go back to school for social work. However, after one semester, it became clear to me that I needed to do something more creative, and that’s when I discovered graphic design.
Naturally, my artistic experience and skills are diverse, ranging from motion graphics, illustration, photography, branding and advertising to mixed media, crafting, card-making, and painting. Currently, I’m focusing on my graphic design pursuits, namely vector illustration and motion graphics.
