Gillian Widdop

I’m Gillian Widdop, the creative force behind TailBrush Designs. As a multidisciplinary artist, I specialize in painting, illustration, photography, animation, and branding, including logos, labels, and packaging. My passion for design extends across digital and traditional mediums, allowing me to craft compelling visual identities that tell unique stories. 

My chosen field of study is graphic design, which teaches and helps improve my knowledge of the industry's different art forms and other design forms, such as printing, page layout, advertisements, and online content. My passions include simple illustration, animated work, branding, and packaging projects. My key skills include my knowledge of various software and the time, effort, and skills it takes to create a stunning design. 

My design journey has been one of exploration and growth. After initially pursuing a different field at Canadore College, I realized my true passion lay in the creative world. Embracing graphic design allowed me to channel my artistic skills into a career that excites and fulfills me. 

Looking ahead, I aspire to establish myself as a respected designer. I want to work with both commercial and non-profit clients to create meaningful, high-quality designs that leave a lasting impact.
