Claudia Torres  

Hola!! My name is Claudia Torres, and I am originally from El Salvador. Becoming a Graphic Designer has always been a dream of mine, and now is a reality. Since I was little, art and creativity have been a part of who I am. Crafting and creating things from scratch with my hands have driven my goals and led me to become the person I am today.

I am a very curious person with a desire to learn. In my free time I love going for walks and admiring nature, hanging out with my friends, and doing fun activities. Reading has always been a very important part of me, and it has helped me a lot to expand my creativity and let my imagination soar. My family has always been a great support on my journey, and I have learned a lot from them. They are my inspiration, and I love spending time with them and creating memories together.

I am passionate about photography and being able to capture those unique moments to create unforgettable memories that will be framed forever. Illustration and animation, both digitally and traditionally, have also been some of the things I enjoy doing the most. Creating brands and content for them is something I have learned to do, and I have discovered that I am passionate about being able to take ideas and dreams and turn them into reality. Studying at Canadore College has helped me expand my knowledge, develop my creativity, and discover new tools to improve my talent.

One of my biggest goals is to be part of a team of designers and create designs that convey and speak to the audience. Being able to make changes to society through my creations, raise the name of my country high, and positively influence people through art is what I aim for. Imagination has no limits, we must learn to unlearn and open our horizons to create things that impact, connect with people, and fabricate out of the box' experiences.
